Spiritual vs Material

I went through some books in last week namely 'Beyond life and death', 'Spiritual Yoga' and 'Into the wild'. First two books were written by eastern philospher Srila Prabhupad and the last one was written by an American adventurer and writer John Krauker.
I can see clear corelation between the ideologies that happiness is completely independent of materialistic pleasures. Not only this, celibacy, minimalism and the concept of isolation is necessary to experience deeper understanding about life.
Tldr; what's the point of money. Let's say you have 1 billion billion dollars. Will you still be happy? No. Money is necessary to a point where we can earn two meals and have clothes and shelter. True happiness lies in self satisfaction, mother nature, self introspection and exploring our consciousness by meditation.
This is not depressing, but I agree to some of views of ISKCON that materialism is leading human life to nowhere. And yes, consciousness is one domain which is still untouched and by exploring it by means of meditation we can break free from this world. Not an existential crisis, but yes, there is no purpose of existence till we achieve super conscisousness or do valuable things for humans.
We can control the universe by our thoughts. Yeah, I will write my thoughts on this with association with quantum physics. But yes, in conclusion, it is indeed true.
I am cutting my emotional attachments with my family and close friends. Because they lead to expectations which further result in disappointments or mess.
I have my younger brother. My father considers him to be 'smarter' than me. I don't have any discontent about this. But I've given up materialism so I that's why I don't care about my clothes, looks or the way I live. Simplicity and minimalism are the best tools for happiness and content. But my father dislikes this and daily he utters some derogatory words. Literally, I haven't experienced a single day in 3 years when he has'nt said something 'bad'. But i don't mind. May god (if there is) send him love and I am thankful for the fact that I have clothes to wear, a shelter to sleep in and books to read.
You might not find this interesting because our views might not match. But yes, do think that where is the hustle to earn more and more money and striving for girls and sex is leading towards you? I am not saying to discard it completely, but everyone must have some spiritual (not religious - i condemn hatred in the name of hinduism or islam or christianity etc) understanding of life.
Till the next time
